Fort Wayne UNITED’s L.I.V.E. Session is a transformative community initiative where real talk meets real change. National and Local events have demonstrated that mistrusts between Law Enforcement and Black men and boys can sometimes lead to fatal consequences, which impacts us all. Our L.I.V.E. Sessions create a safe space for Black men and boys ages 16 – 24 to engage in meaningful conversations with our FWPD leaders, while educating them on FWPD practices, procedures, and policies that impact them most. This is all accomplished through anonymous live polling, storytelling, and knowledge transfer.
